E-commerce Research - Database Power
In the online sense, the nature of a e-commerce database is excellent if you want to provide your customer with the freedom to retrieve products in within that price range, but in terms of exposing them to products just outside that price range, there will be a high percentage lost as the customers will apply the constraint of their search, directly to that shopping session, in that particular instant. A shop however, may have a special deals section, or an area that carries a specific price range, but the rest of the shop and similar for expensive products may still be in full view to the customer. A database driven site, returning specific results, even with the attribute of having a price range, still limit’s the customer and company, but for obviously different reasons
